Amazing! I completed reading your wonderful book and from the beginning wanted to continue reading but had to stop now and then, of course.What a wonderful story. You have certainly have had God in your life from the very beginning and it is easy to see you were chosen to do what your work is for Him.
The book held my attention and I found no part to be boring at all. It is inspiring, motivating, and most interesting. I could almost see and feel that I was present in what was being read.
Although I mentioned that I was not going to do ministry again, now I want to do some kind of outreach to actively help people.
Thank you so much for writing that marvelous and uplifting book.

Twice Born, Turning a new leaf
was a page turner and I honestly couldn't put the book down. I read it in one day.
(my day off).. sit out side until dark last Saturday and then went in the house and could not go to sleep until I got to the end.. I want to encourage others to
read this amazing book. You were born to write and do great things for our Lord and savior ... after I read your book... this is truly you sweet Vicki..You are strong and victorious, through our savior Jesus Christ. That is why God changed your name.
I am so happy and filled with Joy that you are my sister in the Lord. I thank you for writing your story because it gives me encouragement that God will help me write my own for God's glory. Because like you God's hand has been on my life all my life. He has helped me through so much. and I know he has great plans for my life. I feel it in my bones. ( See these bones were dead bones, I felt like the dead man walking and God has given me life back again, his joy runs deep into my spirit).. can't go into all of it now. but I do believe God wants me to write about my own story, and have some rough drafts and that is about it for now. I know it would be an encouragement to others. ( I will just tell you that I could relate to so much in your book. - but in a lot of different ways ). And every life is here for a purpose.. and I do believe we go though things for a reason, so God can do his work in us.)...and all for his Glory..
so again, I was so blessed and touched my your book. and I am blessed your my friend in Christ. Thank you sweet Jesus. Jesus is so good all the time.
Would love to see another book about the exciting things God is doing in Jesus Wept Prison Ministries and Missions. or anything else God puts on your heart to write .. and again Thank you for all the things you are doing -
Your life honors God. Be Strong and keep walking that faithful road. The life living for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the best life their is to live, because ever word of God is true..

God and turn over a new leaf .. die to the things of this world..because this life will soon fade away and our real life begins.. because I honestly believe this life is only a test and we do have a real destination somewhere either Heaven or Hell .. and I sure want to go to Heaven .. so more get on board .. get your ticket...it's free...make sure your name is written in the book of life!
You won't be able to put this book down when you begin to read this testimony of hope in what seemed like hopeless situations. Through turmoil and hardship, questions and wonder, Sister Vicki Hawkins had to learn to lean on the One who was taking her through life's journey, and submit to His will in her life. What a thrill it was to rejoice with her in those moments of triumph, then again, sorrowfully endure with her in those moments of test and trial. This book is certainly a jewel set beautifully within the crown of victory. Indeed, one that I will go back to often for encouragement and enlightenment. Truly, what a testimony of the Love, Grace, and Mercy of Jesus Christ in the life of one who loves Him.
